Recognition of volunteers and success of shows
Upcoming positions – Secretary, Treasurer, At-Large
Linda is interested in moving to Secretary if someone is interested in Treasurer.
Members potluck on Friday evening, August 4 5-7pm before the opening of the members show
Linda & Chris had a computer discussion with Paul Down, Professor from Notre Dame who taught computer science. He shared his recommendation(s)
Pere Wright's open house tonight
Report on finances. Events, memberships, grants and donation have helped build up our finances. We have approx $11000 that is specifically for NAA operational expenses. There is also money in the event buckets.
Doggie Parade – August 12, 10:45am. Theme is Hairy Tales. Please join us in walking the parade. We will have the NAA banner, some flying dog poles to carry from Peter Davidson. Bring your dog and dress in theme if you wish. Dress comfortably for the summer walk.
We also need volunteers to be at the tent at the wine festival in the afternoon. Shifts from 12:30-3:15pm and 3pm-6pm
Discuss sign up sheets for shows. We need volunteers for Plein Air and Members Art show. Sign up sheets will be sent through email to all members.
NAHE one of best shows he’s been involved in.

People interested in next show. Lots of memories shared Hans great grandson and people who knew him came to show. Students and family members of people who knew Emily came in.
Gene Rantz – Recognize Johns creative energy. Nominated as Emeritus Board Member at July meeting Plein Air – over 40 painters coming. 2 pictures each. Glen Arbor has 150 people working on paint out.
Gene needs people to help with Sunday paint out.

Marilyn King – week after Gene’s show. 5:30-7:30 Friday 7/21, 10-4 sat, 1-3 sun
Ernie Barry – marina mural displayed at building. Supplier coming back with samples. Showed an exampled of the panel. Community painting may start 8/9 at VAB. Need Chris to help get the word out.
UnCaged last Saturday in September. $33500 in pledges. Received $22950 Covered booths sold out. Uncovered available.
Suggestion – Give NAA end of street to pull people to building. Need ideas from members on how that area cold be used.
Cars as Art street banners available for $50 each. Keith still has some car models that are signed by artist
Edee having an Arty Party 7/19/17 37 years in Northport 6-9pm. All invited
